With more than 32 km of well-marked nature trails to explore, Iketla offers a myriad of opportunities to explore nature. The trails vary in distance and duration and are well marked and safe to explore on your own.

Green Trail:

A fairly easy walk of 1.5 km which takes about half an hour. This trail offers three natural look-out points with incredible views of the valley below.

Yellow Trail:

A moderately easy trail with a distance of 4 km. You are lead past a variety of scenery, but a highlight for many is the lushly vegetated ravine rich in birdlife. Allow about 1.5 hours to complete

 
 

Blue Trail:

This is a loop which leads off the Yellow Trail. A fairly strenuous walk with a total length of 8.5 km. The trail is distinguished by red quartzite cliffs towering above the walker, giant fig trees and a huge, over-hang cave. Allow 3.5 hours to complete

Red Trail:

A fairly strenuous 8 km hill walk. After a short climb, you are rewarded with dramatic scenery of deep valleys, rocky outcrops and steep quartzite cliffs. Allow 2.5 hours to complete.
